On March 31, 2009 and in view of the G-20 Heads of State Meeting in London on April 2, the Symi Symposium organised a Preparatory Workshop for the meeting of the SI Commission on Global Financial Issues, taking place on the same day at the UN Headquarters under the chairmanship of Joseph E. Stiglitz.

In this video, CIGI Chair in International Governance Eric Helleiner summarizes the key findings of his recent briefing paper, "From London to L'Aquila: Building a Bridge between the G20 and G8," co-authored with Paola Subacchi (Chatham House and CIGI, June 2009).
