IFIwatch.TV is a project of IFIWatchnet.org. The IFIwatch.TV video portal is founded on open trust, and with that trust comes responsibility from all those who wish to participate. Before reading the full Terms & Conditions, detailed below, please take note of the following:

    * Membership is free. IFIwatch.tv has received funding from a variety of trusts and foundations who share our aims and core values, helping us provide this unique video sharing portal. 

    * IFIwatch.tv makes absolutely no claim to your content, we simple help make people aware of it. 

    * We welcome contributions of information from near and far, from people and machines, whatever data we can get about videos that deal with the reality of IFI policies and projects. We feature news, documentary, campaigning, fiction, animation, experimental or un-categorisable - our focus here is video produced independently of the corporate and official media; video that explores the people and mechanisms involved in environmental destruction and human rights abuses; diverse voices on how the real world works… without official or commercial filters. 

Submission Guidelines

Publication of videos information is at the discretion of the editors. We accept work that:

    * focuses on the international financial institutions
    * is well researched - The World Bank group, IMF, EBRD, IADB, ADB (Africa or Asia), EIB, GEF, and similar multilateral bodies. 
    * is well produced and edited
    * is newsworthy, engaging and/or entertaining 

We won't be accepting:

    * advertising or advertorial, corporate videos
    * videos that overtly promote the interests of any particular religion or religious groups, governments, political parties or corporations as a primary purpose
    * work that promotes sexism, racism, homophobia or other abuses.

IFIWatch.tv RSS Feed: Standard Licence Terms


Your download and/or use of an IFIWatch.tv Feed indicates your agreement to these Standard Licence Terms.

1. Licence

1.1 Subject to the terms of this Agreement, IFIWatch.tv grants you a non-transferrable, non-sublicensable, royalty free non-exclusive licence to display on your website ("Site") the headlines, active links or other source identifiers and other information or materials that you specifically select to receive from ifiwatch.tv via the IFIWatch.tv Feed ("IFIWatch.tv Content").


2. Use of IFIWatch.tv Content

2.1 You may not use the Feed or display any IFIWatch.tv Content on any web site that is excluded by IFIWatch.tv (scroll down for the list of Excluded Websites as may be amended by the IFIWatch.tv from time to time).

2.2 YOU MAY NOT DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY CHARGE USERS SPECIFICALLY FOR ACCESSING IFIWatch.tv CONTENT OR OTHERWISE COMMERCIALISE SUCH CONTENT, NOR ATTEMPT TO RE-SELL IFIWatch.tv CONTENT IN ANY WAY.


3. Warranties & Liability

3.1 The IFIWatch.tv Feed is made available by IFIWatch.tv on an "as is" and "as available" basis and IFIwatch.tv gives no warranty of any kind in relation to the IFIWatch.tv Feed or any content on the IFIWatch.tv website. IFIWatch.tv disclaims all implied warranties, including but not limited to the implied warranties of satisfactory quality, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, compatibility, and accuracy regarding IFIWatch.tv Content, the IFIWatch.tv Feed and the IFIWatch.tv website and any content thereon.

3.2 TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW IFIWatch.tv EXCLUDES ALL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY LOSS OR DAMAGE HOWSOEVER ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THIS AGREEMENT, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANY LIABILITY ARISING IN RELATION TO THE IFIWatch.tv FEED, THE IFIWatch.tv CONTENT OR ANY CONTENT ON THE IFIWatch.tv WEBSITE, ANY VIRUS OR OTHER CONTAMINATION OR ANY UNAVAILABILITY OF IFIWatch.tv CONTENT.

3.3 Each provision of this Clause 3 operates separately in itself and survives independently of the others.

4. Indemnity

4.1 You hereby agree to indemnify, hold harmless and defend the IFIWatch.tv in respect of all damages, costs and expenses, including reasonable legal fees and litigation expenses, arising out of or as a result of any breach of the Standard Licence Terms or otherwise in connection with your use of the IFIWatch.tv Feed (including IFIWatch.tv Content).

5. Termination

5.1 IFIWatch.tv may restrict, suspend or terminate the IFIWatch.tv Feed, this Agreement, the licence granted herein or your access to the IFIWatch.tv Feed at any time without liability. You agree to destroy all copies of the IFIWatch.tv Feed (including the IFIWatch.tv Content) upon receiving notice of termination from the IFIWatch.tv.

5.2 Clauses 3, 4 and 6 shall survive termination of this Agreement.

6. General

6.1 This Agreement shall be governed by, construed and take effect in accordance with English law and the English courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any claim or dispute which may arise out of or in connection with this Agreement.

Excluded Websites

The IFIWatch.tv RSS feeds may only be displayed on websites that do not fall into any one or more of the categories listed below. A site will be deemed to fall within one of the following categories where there is a material and prominent section of the Site that falls within such category.

1. Sites that incite hatred whether based on race, religion, gender, sexuality or otherwise 2. Sites that discriminate against any specific social group or otherwise exploit vulnerable sections of society 3. Sites which are misleading, pornographic, defamatory, or that contain illegal, or otherwise actionable content under UK law.


This site cannot directly generate revenue for producers, although we working towards facilitating a donations-based payment system a bit further down the line.
